Menu for the Week of September 2nd

Our menu plan for this week

This week is our first week back to our full homeschool schedule so I am keeping my meal plan really simple and easy. I also only planned dinner this week as I need to use up what we have on hand. So our breakfasts will be toast and eggs most days. Our neighbor brought us over some eggs from their chickens. Lunches will consist of leftovers and sandwiches. Here’s our dinner plan,

Dinners

Omelets, Hashbrowns and Toast

Pan Fried Pork Chops, Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans

Build Your Own Haystacks with Fruit

Hoisin Chicken (hoping to get the recipe up soon), Rice and Stir Fry Vegetables

Pizza and Salad

Grilled London Broil, Baked Potatoes and Salad

Leftover London Broil on Salad with Rolls

What’s on your menu plan this week?

  1. How nice to get some fresh eggs from your neighbor! I bet they taste a lot better than the ones in the supermarket.

Looking forward to seeing your Hoisin Chicken recipe…it sounds yummy 🙂

    1. The eggs we get from our neighbor have very bright yellow yolks. Much more color than the ones from the store. As far as taste I can’t tell the difference, but I am sure they have more nutrients in them.
