12 Months to a Healthier You Challenge, Week 12 Update

Drink More Water for the Month of March

I’m following along with the 12 Months to a Healthier You Challenge at Money Saving Mom. I started the challenge in January to help keep me motivated to lose weight and help me establish some good healthy habits too.

How the Challenge Works

Each month of the challenge will have an area to focus on, to help improve your health and mine. By focusing on one area each month, it should give us time to really get it set as a habit. So it won’t end up being something we just do for one month. I’m hoping I will be able to continue the improvements for a long time.

Drink More Water

March’s Focus Area

This month’s focus is on drinking more water. I have been trying to increase my water intake a little each month since January. I’m was up to 5 glasses a day at the end of February, so for March my goal will be 6 glasses of water a day.

I thought about trying to bump the goal up more, but I know it’s hard for me to sometimes fit in 5 glasses. So, I thought I would just increase on more glass a day, to play it safe. 🙂

My Progress for this week

This week I did Ok with getting my water in. I missed two days this week, I only got 5 glasses in those days instead of 6, but at least I’m not going backwards.

Our water filter needed to be changed this past week and I finally got it done. But the water until I was able replace it, tasted awful. So that really didn’t help me in meeting my goal this week.

But on the bright side, I did get my exercising in this week and I did really well on eating fruits and vegetables too. It was a good week overall.

How did you do? Did you meet your goal for your water intake?
