Easy Dinner Ideas

I think I’m finally adjusting to the new time change. I don’t know about you but I was dragging all last week. I try to keep to a regular sleep schedule but those time changes really do throw me off. And then all the craziness that followed, it all threw me off.

This week I felt a little lazy or maybe it was just tired when I was planning our meals. Because of that, this week is full of easy to make dinners. I added in a breakfast for dinner this week. My family loves breakfast for dinner and it’s easy for me to make.

When I went shopping I was hoping to get ground beef but it was sold out. I didn’t want to go to another store so I found a package of hamburger patties and bought those.

When we need ground beef in the beef stroganoff recipe, I’ll just cook up the patties and chop them. It will be close enough to ground beef for us to use in the beef stroganoff.

I also found chicken at a good price. So I picked up a package and cooked it ahead for the freezer, for quick and easy meals.

We’ll be using some of the cooked chicken in our chicken vegetable couscous. We have a few peas in the fridge to use up and frozen broccoli that I’ll add to it.

It will be raining all week, I’ve included soup for dinner. It’s always an easy meal to make. And we’ll be having pizza too this week.

Homemade pizza, it’s really easy to make too. We could probably eat it every week.

Here’s what’s cooking at our house this week,

Dinners

I’m always looking for new summer skillet meals that I can make without heating up the house. Some good summer dinner recipes to add to my menu plan. If you need a couple new dinner ideas for the summer, you’ll want to try this chicken recipe. It’s an easy skillet dinner that can be made in about 15 minutes. It uses leftover chicken, so you won’t have leftovers go to waste.

  1. Yum, we love yakisoba at our house! When we finally reach our goal weight, we’ll probably be able to eat things like that once a week or so…and I can’t wait!

Hope you have a great week 🙂
